So it's been a week since I contacted local schools. I was thinking about how much gas costs suck and stuff, and decided to google online schools. Walden University offers an online bachelor's degree in early childhood development, which can be followed up by their 2 yr early childhood education (Preschool - Grade 3). Cool things so far are: it's much cheaper, and the guy called me on the phone 40 minutes after I requested information.
Has anyone heard anything about Walden University that I should know about? Are they an internet scam? Are they, though accredited, laughed at and scorned by the hiring world or departments of education? Is this a fantastic opportunity that I should grab RIGHT THIS MINUTE??
