ISSI
ok so i cant sleep. ive been invited to austrailia by the ISSI (international sports something Inc.) for golfing.
im one of the 8 golfers selected from washington to compete in the apparent "highschool golf olympics." its a pretty big event.12 day trip to austrailia, new zeland and 3 days in hawaii. sounds amazing huh? they even pay for you to stay in a 5 star hotel! count them! 1,2,3,4,5! star!! and they pay for 2 of the 3 meals. ok but i need to pay for my own plane tickets which is difficult for me right now because of college, appartment, graduation parties, ect... i really want to go. really really bad!
except i havent played in like 2 years. i was part of a team for 9th and 10th grade. one of three star players. there was 20. but how did they chose me? sounds like a scam. but at the same time so amazing. personal tours included.
and did i mention BOYS?!?!?!?! aussie boys and hawaiian boys and well, boys in general...if i could live on boy island i would just die of extreem happiness.
anyways back to the golfing. if any other golfers got this letter let me know and i hope i find enough money to go to this. its in july though but whats a week 1/2 away from camp when you have a once in a lifetime oppertunity. my dad is so mad right now because of this invitation because his little girl is a better golfer than he is. i know he tried to hide it but i overheard him talking to mom. oh well. idk. just wishin for the best at this point.
