Countdown to Day 1
Okay so yesterday was move-in day. Michael and I drove down mid-day to Austin so that we could get our keys and sign the paperwork on our lovely new townhome. My muscles were killing me after the little bit we did last night since we got in late and weren't able to get day labor then.
After a nice 8 1/2 hour slumber we got up and started getting going for the day. What a long day it was. 3 hours with 2 day labor guys and it's all in the townhome in some way, shape or form. It's going to be a busy few weeks I would say.
I have started working on the kitchen tonight and not getting much accomplished. Why? Well, Michael had to go back to Dallas for work. He will be staying there until I have a job down here and then he will put in his notice. Therefore, tomorrow will Day 1 all alone without my husband of less than 4 months. Distance makes the heart grow fonder right?
