(no subject)
We have pretty much organized the upstairs!! We were even able to have a fire thanks to E adn Oblivions giving us some of their wood. The SCA/craft room is still a disaster however will not be organized until I can get to my dads to pick up a dresser and CD stands. Hopefully on one of the few "nice days" this week we can get together.
The basement is still a disaster but we will work at that so that it is somewhat good to go by christmas eve, when we have my family over. All in all it is coming together.
thekillerb69 and E put in two more toilets and we are officially an dual flush house:)
I participated in a baking exchange at work and will now be done my Christmas baking as I get half a dozen from each participant (10)!! I made marshmallow pops (marshmallows dipped in white chocolate and candy cane) which are pretty good. usually I would have spent hours on sugar cookies however there is limited counter space at this time:) This did result in forgetting my breakfast and lunch this morning- oh well I can run on sugar right? lol!
I have most of the Christmas presents bought- just need to pick up a couple things for my sister and I'm done!! this is very unsual as I am normally done my the beginning of December however this house thing put a wee delay in the plans.
With everything that I could do at this time with the house was done I was able to start my holiday movie watching. I took in The Grinch who stole Christmas - Jim Carrey, and Miracle on 34th st. I am hoping to get through most if not all of my collection this year- but must watch It's a wonderful Life if nothing else.
Now I have to bare the cold weather and go to the Grocery store at lunch as I forgot the pot luck we are having tomorrow at lunch and need to get an appetizer or dessert.
