Rock contest
I am participating in the 2nd Annual ATB Idol (which is actually Rockband) tomorrow at lunch and am starting to get nervous. There are 8 completitors which includes singles and bands. I am playing Welcome Home on bass (medium)and singing (hard). The only time I sang infront of 200 people is when i had 5 other people with me. I believe that one other girl will also be singing and playing and insturment so I will have a little competition. I just hope my voice does not go squeaky due to nerves. It also looks like I will be the the first person to perform, which is a good and bad thing. Good because I don't have to "live up" to other peoples performances, bad becuase once others play is when I get in the groove. I hope I can be crowd friendly and not just stand there.
I am the opening act for the band from my group which performed last year and won best group. We are doing a punk lounge theme. They are singing Just a Girl (matt is singing which will be funny) and our groupies will be around a nicely decorated table with Candles and "wine".
All in all it should be fun, and i get free lunch and have entered to win a $250 best buy GC (open to all employees). everyone cross your fingers.
