homecoming
I had a pleasant surprise this evening when talking to thekillerb69. the call came up as unknown id- which usually his work number shows so that was odd. he advised me that my package would be arriving tomorrow at 9pm on a west jet flight. i would need a cart as the package is heavy. I then asked if i would need help getting it into the car and he said that it should fit in the from seat. one package is about 40 pounds, one is 70 at which point i still hadn't quite clued in and asked what in the world he was sending at which point he said that the other was easier as it was 140 and had legs. it took me a few seconds to clue in i will admit and then the light went on - he has legs and is about 140. I then start to scream and jump up and down, yep i was jumping. he had sent me an email yesterday indicating that it was a go and he would let me know the details. my initial reaction was he was coming home but then I talked myself out of that as i couldn't be that lucky. Needless to say he was calling from Iqaluit and was heading to ottawa tomorrow morning and on to Calgary in the evening. now lets hope this flight does not get canceled as it did the last time he got to ottawa.
Needless to say i am very excited and probably won't sleep much which will not help how i feel wednesday as i won't be sleeping much tomorrow night either. My man is such a a great guy. This is a great birthday surprise- even if it is a little late. on top of that apparently I'm not waiting until saturday to get my real present which is hiding in the house somewhere. I allotted not to open it without him
We are thinking of having people over to rock out sunday. no definite details yet. I'll talk to him about a brunch maybe however we are going out for my birthday dinner saturday and there may be sleeping in.
I'll keep everyone posted.
Well i'm off to try and get some sleep and face a very long day tomorrow.
