Frustration and you lazy people, you! XD
So uh, so far this is really enfuriating.
We've been turned down by more places than I want to remember because we are a lesbian couple. -_- Not to mention most the places i've been are asking 5000 when my budget said to plan for a 5000 wedding overall!! Wtf.
So, im looking for some good ideas. I need places that are accepting or that won't ask. We can get our own preacher, that's not a biggie, in fact, anyone can do it cause it won't be legal until they legalize us anyhoo. But we need somewhere that is casual and easy going, that's not going to judge us and for gods's sakes, let us bring our own food. I donna want your damned catered stuff. Hell, I don't even need a DJ!
So, we probably won't have a location on the invitations unless we just give in an decided to decorate at a park or lakeside again. Kristy really wanted gardens, but everywhere has turned us down. The Rose Gardens wouldn't have...but they are doing construction and so are not taking weddings this year.
Honestly, why does this have to be so difficult? We're like any other damn couple, we just want to be married and have this be the happiest day of our lives instead of the most frustrating, enfuriating, difficult effort we've had to make yet!
*sigh* Once again, if you've got any suggestions, please, for the love of God, send them to me!
