You’re actually just one thing after another

I am very much enjoying my 50p off at Starbucks vouchers. Even though the cream is still the crappy new stuff that melts far too fast. I was really super tired this morning for no reason at all, so I think it'll have to be an early night tonight.

I went to take my Dad's Christmas presents to his house last Thursday - I saw him on Tuesday but at the match, and I wanted to see him open his presents so I kept them til I had time to drop in with them. I got there and Julie let me in, which is weird in itself, as Dad always answers the door. It turns out he'd been off work ill - she got him to come downstairs but he was really weird and dizzy the whole time. He opened his things and seemed pleased with them but then I left him to recover some more. I texted him on Friday to see if he was feeling better and he said he hadn't been able to get a doctors appointment but that he was still dizzy, though a bit better - he spoke to a doctor on the phone who diagnosed him with acute onset vertigo. I sent him a text today and he's still off work, no better, with a doctor's appointment tomorrow. Hopefully she'll be able to sort him out because he's not generally a sickly person and hates sitting around doing nothing - plus we play Newcastle a week on Sunday and he can't miss that! ;)

Day 17 → Your favourite holiday
I am going to choose to answer this as a holiday I went on, rather than a public holiday, because I don't have such a thing as a favourite one of those, and since I made this meme up, I can answer it however I want!

This is another really tough one because I've had some amazing holidays over the last few years - Barcelona/Salou, Portugal, LA/San Diego/San Francisco with Quinn last year, but I think I'll have to go with LA/San Diego 2009 with Jaina, Hilary, Ryan, Karen and Max. Purely because there were so many of us, it was a long trip and we went so far away - all of those things combined make it particularly memorable, and then there are just so many memories from the whole time. The condo we rented is top of the list of why it was awesome though - I wish I could win the lottery so I could buy that condo from the woman. I totally would. I'd pay anything. I met Paul Gross - nine year old me died happy that day. The whole trip was just absolutely brilliant. So it wins here!
