You're my umbrella against their sticks and stones

Mam and I are going to see The Lion, The Witch and the Wardobe in a couple of weeks at the West Yorkshire Playhouse in Leeds. We're very excited because we saw it three years ago and it was absolutely AMAZING, and this is the same director. The only two things that could have been improved upon was the impressiveness of Aslan, and the evilness of the Witch.

And according to the reviews I've been reading, at least the second one has been recified - Clare Foster is playing the Witch this year, and Clare was Mrs Thistletwat in Avenue Q for a year. In fact, Clare was understudy to Kate Monster and Lucy the Slut, and was actually playing the parts when we saw it. She was fantastic - and even though she doesn't have to sing in this, I'm SO looking forward to seeing her in a different role. I bet she makes a great evil snow queen!

In other news - still haven't watched any new films. Damn me.

And I'm currently burning my foot on my mug with Lemsip in it. Oops.

I'm also actually watching Celebrity Poker as Dave Gorman is on, but that won't last very long because it'll probably succeed in putting me to sleep.

Also, Pegasus 3 is definitely going to have day tickets on sale, on the door only. That's fantastic for me, because if for whatever reason I decide not to go (yeah right!!) all I have to do is lose the tiny amount I spent on trains (travelling so I don't get to London til midnight Friday helps, Mam and I want to go see Sweeney Todd after work that night as it's the day it's out here so I booked the 9.30 train which was dirt cheap!) and cancelling the hostel won't cost me anything provided I do it by the Thursday.

Lalala, Kavan! :D

And because it's JUST after midnight on the 8th - HAPPY BIRTHDAY xfunkydoryx!!
