The strawberry cows want it back

May 04, 2007 01:00

I'm bored. And it's been a while since I've done a little meme - I remember I did this a couple of years ago, but it's been doing the rounds again recently, so I thought I'd try it again!

If you read this, if your eyes are passing over this right now, (even if we don't speak often) please post a comment with a COMPLETELY MADE UP AND FICTIONAL memory of you and me.

It can be anything you want - good or bad - BUT IT HAS TO BE FAKE.

When you're finished, post this little paragraph on your blog and be surprised (or mortified) about what people DON'T ACTUALLY remember about you.

As for the boredom, I need to find something to do. All my message boards are dead at the moment, my flist isn't moving... sigh.

I've only got three shifts this week, but because I'm doing Sunday night and Monday night, I get 9 hours of bank holiday pay, which means I get paid for four :D Woot!

After my 2-10 tomorrow, I'm having a shower (in room 4 - the room that we're currently raping for all its goodies. Need a matress? Swap it with room 4! Need to replace a broken light fitting? Take it out of room 4! A fuse? Room 4!) and then getting the 11.30pm bus into York. That means sitting in the station for over an hour as I'll be there before midnight and my coach isn't til 1.15am, but it's preferable to sitting at work and paying for a taxi, because if I stay at work, I'll end up working.

Then it's off to Milton Keynes, a place I always say I'll never return to, and always do! jainaj is collecting me from the Coachway, which means I don't have to think about finding a taxi, or end up needing new shoes because I walked through wet grass wearing not very waterproof shoes like last time. Can't wait to see the other Browncoat folk, though our numbers are dwindling as people drop out one at a time so it'll be a nice small shindig!

Though this'll be the first Collectormania I go to where I don't see quinnykins, she's going to be home in a week or so and I'll see her then (even if we have to resort to her harrassing me at work!) which will be nice.

This Collectormania is a fairly big Buffyverse one - I'm being such a good girl, managed to shave my autograph list down from over £100 to £55 by realising I'm just getting things signed for the sheer hell of it. Tony Head is going to be there, but I've met him a couple of times so I mightn't bother getting his. Then there's James Marsters and Charisma Carpenter - managed to talk myself out of taking my Veronica Mars DVDs because there's not really anywhere on there that'd look good for her to sign. So just the one autograph from her, which is good considering I got five from her last time!

I'm most giddy about Mark Lutz coming along though. I love Mark. He's funny. I don't have anything for him to sign but I remembered I don't have a 10x8 of him, so I'll just get one of those.

And that's my autography ramblings for the night! Dyed my hair this morning in preparation. We'll see how it goes, probably won't bother dying it before Breakout, but we'll see - then I'll get a cut and redye it before Decalogy. Yes, my convention attendance totally dictates my hair cuts and colouring.

Just waiting to be told how much I owe for the next installment of the Cruise, now. And also waiting for the Serenity LA tickets to go on sale. The things I do for my fandom. I knew I should have bought that annual travel insurance when I went to Flan, but never mind! I'll get an annual policy this time and I'll be covered from when I go to LA right til next November, if I fancy going again!
