Yay! It's Friday!
Hey, all!
I'm alive. I lost my fob thingy to get into the office to use the member's computer, and then when I finally got it back a few days ago, the 'net was down, until today. And now Dan is probably sitting at my place waiting for me, so I can't be too long here.
I went to the Cave on my birthday (the 13th), and I want to say a big thank-you to
wavfnctn and
ravensee for coming!
ravensee gave me a wee framed Egyptian "shadowbox" picture, and a Nefertiti pendant, both very cool, and
wavfntcn gave me a card that had 3 DumDum suckers taped to the envelope, and some moolah inside! Dan came (no, he didn't get me anything), and my best friend Jay, and his girlfriend Renata, too. Jay gave me a copy of his new EP, This Is Tomorrow, and wrote something really sweet on it, and the Invader Zim:Season One DVD, as well as a sheet of hilarious stickers with funny photos of cats, that have captions under them. He bought me a couple of beers, too! We all had a good time, and DJ Shannon even bought me a beer! I felt a bit bad for
ravensee, as she didn't really know know anyone too well, and I wasn't really able to chat with her, due to how we were seated. I hope she had an okay time. Valentine's Day was a write off, pretty much. Again, Dan didn't do anything for me. Not even a card. I really don't understand this side of him... I decided to wait to give him my stuff, and gave it too him about a week later. I've been back to court, for the co-op stuff, and am awaiting another date again.
I'm sure I have much more to write, but I'm drawing a blank...
I don't have time to read my friend's pages at all right now, and since I haven't had computer access for nearly 3 weeks, I'm sure when I get to it, I'll be at it for hours. Poo.
Oh yeah, I actually got Dan to come out to the Dark Retro night with me last Friday at Savage! It was pretty good!
My only other news I can think of is that we've taught Grizelda to stand on her hind legs, and "dance" in a circle, for a treat. Dan started it, by teaching her "stand up" in Portuguese (sounds like "point eng peh") but when I do it, I just say "dance", because that's what it looks like she's doing. I swear he loves that dog more than he loves me, lol!
