Pretty darn good
for a Tuesday. Last night Kat and I made a delightful skirt that was awesome and perfect for World Goth Day. I woke up early and did the make up and my hair, and went to work all gothed up. :) Yes, there is a picture. and as soon as it gets posted, I will link to it. All day, I ran my footies off in my doc Martens, keeping up with the patients and the workload, and people looked at me funny. Win!
[Oh hey, side note: as part of messing around getting ready for WGD, I tried on teh dress Kat and I made for New Year's Eve - AND IT WAS TOO BIG. Damn, I'm happy with that!]
My credit union called me to let me know that my Visa card had been compromised, and did I need to make a quick transaction before they killed the card? The holiday weekend was coming up and they didn't want me to be without cash for the Bratfest. Once I got my heart restarted, I thanked the nice lady. It's wonderful when your financial institution has your back.
Then I got to ride my bike home. In a skirt. Wheeeeee! Another good ride, and this time in girly clothes, o.m.g. It worked and I didn't even fall over and hurt myself! Pretty damn amazing.
Now the kid is inflicting Glee on me, and I'm seriously considering falling into bed early. I see my shrink tomorrow morning. Thursday, Mike and I look at a house for a second time. Uff-da, this year is getting more and more interesting.
