(no subject)
Now that I have wasted an hour or so looking at blogthings and chewing off my left thumbnail without noticing I had until I was done.
I didn't write last night because I was all set to go to bed around midnight, until I was in the kitchen and smelled this horrible smell in the pantry. Turns out a can of mandarin oranges (who knows why we had those in there) that was like 5 years old exploded.. the bottom blew out and it sprayed nasty, fermented juice and brown fruit meat all over the shelf, wall and underside of the shelf above. The juice was on the floor, and dripped down to the shelf below. It was the worst, most disgusting smell I've smelled in a long while. That took close to two hours to somewhat clean up - enough so we didn't have an army of ants in the kitchen over night. We still have stuff to clean, but I was so tired from last night I didn't get to do any cleaning today.
Nothing huge to report for today. Went with mom to get her second opinion eye check, and put in her order for new glasses. I took my other pair of glasses with me (they had the right lens fall out) and come to find out they are too small, so I need to get a backup pair, considering when I don't have one I always need one. While we were at Pearl Vision, the weather turned nasty, we got a little bit of rain, some thunder and lightening, lots of wind, and the power went out twice while we were there.
Went to Furrs (or however its spelt) for dinner, came home, did some walking laps in the pool (we have an above ground thats like 4 feet deep) and came in. Helped dad roll coins to take to the bank (thats his train fund money and there's a train show tomorrow) and then I came in here. Talked with Josh while he went to buy and airsoft gun so he could play with his friends in phx (wish I could do something similar... I really want to go bowling)
And here I sit. Sneezing.
