After ditching Darryl yesterday, I decided to come in today ready to work on the brag sheet and resume critiques. Of course, this entailed actually getting them done first. I stayed up late last night putting the finishing touches on them so they'd be all ready for reviewing. I got to school early so I could go through the graduation arrangements with Father Michael, Phil Johnson, and Keszler. By the time we got back from the monastery and the theater, all the spaces for appointments with Sister Pat were taken. I had been under the impression that everyone was going to have an opportunity to meet with her. It seems a good portion of the class wasn't able to get a spot either. The schedule she gave us a few months ago indicated that it would be arranged alphabetically, something like A-P in the morning and Q-Z in the afternoon. I just left my papers off in her office and got a ride to the subway with Greg. I guess I'll check back in a couple of days and see if she has time. It was the shortest and most pointless day that I can remember in my time at St. Anselm's. The bright side is that I enjoyed a nice walk home with the rain gently sprinkling down and the the sound of cicadas in the background. As I walked, I let my mind wander. My irritation faded away and was replaced by amusement. It's pretty funny actually: a school day ending at like 9:30 in the morning.
