Cate Tiernan and her Sweep series
Happy April Fool's, everyone!🤪 Anyhow, I really wanna start reading Cate Tiernan's "Sweep" series again. It's been a few years since I've read it and with all this crazy news about covid-19 going on, I wanna get lost reading a good series. I discovered the author and her series years ago while I was shopping at a Salvation Army (one of my fave thrift shops). I had seen book one and two in a shelf; and when I skimmed through them, I knew I had to buy them. While at home, I finished reading them and couldn't resist not knowing what was gonna happen to Morgan (main character) so I ended up ordering the whole series at my local book shop and I was not disappointed. I must say that my favorite character is Alisa Soto and my favorite book from that series is volume 13 "Reckoning" because I think Alisa is a funny girl and I identify with her as a Latina girl who's trying to find herself by discovering her powers; so whenever I get to that part of the series, I get overly excited in reading about her trip to visit her mom's family.😁 I wish they would make a TV show or movie out of that series the way they did with The Vampire Diaries. I'd be so ecstatic if they did that!🤩
