A (very late) Happy Halloween to everyone~!

So some days ago after Himaruya posted this blog about Halloween costumes, I got the urge to draw what I imagined two of them would come as on Halloween - said two being a certain Finn and a certain Grecian. I know, I know, the costumes I drew them are not canon, but hey this was drawn before the event began, so please understand. ^^;

This drawing also contains a lot of inaccuracies (some intended), and for that I apologize! This was also posted on dA.

In this drawing I drew Tino as a completely overhauled redesigned plague doctor and Heracles as Oedipus (the same guy whom the 'Oedipus complex' was named after) post-traumatic revelation. On costume basis: Plague doctor!Tino's outfit was only very loosely inspired by actual plague doctor outfits; if you'd compare, actual plague doctors had long cloaks, wide non-pointy hats, full-face bird masks, and canes - whilst Tino doesn't have any of these. This was rather done on purpose, because I wanted to modernize/redesign the plague doctor outfit a lot bit. On the other hand, Oedipus!Heracles' ancient Greek outfit was directly inspired by an illustration of Oedipus and the Sphinx that could be found in Edith Hamilton's Mythology (I greatly recommend that book, by the way, it's very comprehensive). I tore up his cloak for Halloween effect. Heracles' eyes are "bleeding" because in the original play Oedipus gouged his eyes out after learning the truth, however I kept his eyes intact so he can enjoy his Halloween wholly. And black cats are a favorite during Halloween, of course. <3 I named it Oedipus too.

Um, yes, I'm aware that these outfits are not Himaruya canon, but it's fun to imagine, right? ^^;

*cough* A-anyway. Please do tell me what you think~! ^_^
