THE VERY BASICS

1. What constitutes the act of sex?

Well really, when it comes down to it, that can be subjective. Some people consider oral sex, sex, some don't and simply call it 'oral'. There are also a lot of different definitions of what it means to be a virgin, but I think one thing that is agreed upon by all, is that it usually involves two people getting sexual pleasure form each other--that is at least something goes on with our intimate parts in one form or another.

2. Are there different types of sex? If so, describe them.

Of course. Really the only limit is your imagination--and I suppose what physics allows. The most common kind however would be vaginal, but of course there is anal and oral.

MYTHS AND MISCONCEPTIONS

1. List three myths or urban legends about sex or contraception you know are untrue.

If a girl's hymen is broken, torn, or missing, she is not a virgin or that if a girl doesn't bleed during sex, she is not a virgin.

You can't get pregnant if it is your first time having sex.

The condition "blue balls" is something guys make up.

2. Can a woman get pregnant if she has sex during her period?

The chances are incredibly low, but it's not completely unheard of.

3. Can a woman get pregnant after she engages in anal intercourse?

Again very unlikely, especially if the two are careful not to let any of the semen

4. Can a woman get pregnant if she has sex with a race of humanoid besides her own?

Yes.

5. Is it possible for men to get pregnant?

In some demi-human races, I believe it is.

CONTRACEPTION

1. List all forms of contraception you are aware of.

The best is abstinence, but we all have our needs, right? After that condoms are pretty reliable if you know how to use them right, there are a number of herbs that help with prevention, and of course some spells--but you should only ever use those if you are absolutely sure you know how to cast them, or ask the help of a professional. They can be incredibly dangerous.

Same goes for potions or any other magical means.

2. Do you know what the effectiveness level of these contraceptives are? If they are used in combination?

As I said, abstinence is best. Condoms are really good as long as you use them properly. Get a good fit, and let a a good amount of room stick off the end so that there is space for the semen to go when they ejaculate.

There are quite a number of herbs that you cant take both before and after you have sex. They work quite well, and when combined with a condom are a pretty good way to go.

Spells, if they are done right, are just as good as abstinence.

3. Are you aware of any risks involved with their use?

Abstinence risks a lot of frustration on your part, hee.

Condoms and herbs? As long as you have the right herbs, there is little risk.

Spells can be incredibly dangerous. Incredibly dangerous. If done wrong you could seriously mess yourself up so I honestly would recommend against it unless you are 100% sure that the spell caster is a professional.

4. Do you know where to acquire any of these contraceptive devices?

Well I'm sure you can get them almost anywhere. I have some of the herbs that can be used as contraception for medicinal purposes.

Spells. Stick with guildmasters, really. And only them. That would be my recommendation.

5. Who should you consult before using them?

Well any of the adults here. I'd be happy to talk with anyone, and of course Zeetha seems like she knows what she is doing.

SEXUAL DISEASES

1. What is a sexual disease? How are they spread?

Diseases received through the exchange of liquid--really, any sort of liquid within a sexual contact.

2. List any sexual diseases you are aware of.

There are far too many, and I'm sure most have already addressed them.

3. How can you prevent contracting these diseases, or minimize the risk of doing so?

Getting regular check ups. Making sure you know your partner well, and sticking with only one partner at a time (or set of partners if that's the way you swing, but remember, the more people, the larger the risk)

4. Are there any treatment options available?

A couple exist out there. Doctors and Healers are working very hard, but best to avoid the trouble altogether, aye?

MASTURBATION

1. Do you find the subject embarrassing? Why or why not?

Not particularly. I mean I'm not going to randomly go on about it, but if the subject comes up it doesn't bother me entirely. Really--those who don't masturbate are the minority, so I don't think it's something to be particularly shy about.

2. How often do you engage in it? Do you think that is normal?

Mmm. I rarely do, to be honest. When it happens, it happens, but I can't even remember the last time I did.

3. Would you feel comfortable discussing the subject with any future romantic partners?

If they asked about it--yes.

5. What are the benefits of masturbation? Are there any negatives?

It feels good. A simple and easy way to give yourself pleasure, relieve stress. No real negatives, really.

6. List any urban legends or myths you have heard about masturbation..

It's more acceptable for boys to masturbate than girls.

Masturbation causes acne or loss of eyesight.

Masturbation causes hair to grow on your palms.

Teenagers shouldn't masturbate often, as they will lose the ability to have children.

Only Certain Kinds of People Masturbate

Oh there are TONS. The things some people come up with.
