Ya know, it's been a while. A while since many things, though not long enough for some and not soon enough for others.

I love Georgia! And by Georgia, I mean Jojah, otherwise known as UGA. And to think that I wanted to go up to those fine, cold, small, and private bastions of knowledge up North. Well, I actually probably would be enjoying myself up there either way, but UGA has yet to let me down. The weather has been maybe a touch too hot (and especially humid) but that's about my only complaint. The dorm room, roommate, hall mates, girls of Myers 2nd Floor, and just about every single person I've met has been wonderful, friendly, and overall delightful.

To sum up my busy schedule and consistent lack of sleep:
-I joined a fraternity - Sigma Pi - and am enjoying getting to know all the Brothers
-I am working with a junior to found CARE, an international human rights organization
-I am currently a captain of a Myers League frisbee team and playing on another Fall Leauge frisbee team
-Chinese homework, Global issues, seminar readings, philosophy and economic history dominate my nights. I don't think I've ever had to read so much in such a short amount of time
-I try to keep a modest social life outside of the frat, and even *gasp* outside of the Myers Community
-And lastly, at any given moment, I may have a meeting of some sort with some other group, be it Ramseys, Model UN, Student Ambassadors, Roosevelt Institution or all the other organizations I'm looking to get involved with.

My first ever football game was amazing! I had a great time despite the heat and waking up the next day unable to feel the bottoms of my feet. I had a wonderful date, and we kicked Boise State's ass. Never in my life have I seen so much red and black in one area.

Here's to nights spent at shady clubs, procrastinating homework, laying out on the Quad with an amazing girl, taking silly pictures with fun friends, fire alarms going off at 1AM, endless numbers of frisbee games, outrageous gas prices, fraternity Brothers, sorority girls, Ramseys, Fellows, the Michael Tolcher concert, west campus kids, random but fun talks with Courtney, and the multitude of people that make me smile. May these days never end. You know how the saying goes - "UGA, the best 5 or 6 years of your life."
