Eu Pertenço a Karoline
I have completely fallen for the most wonderful and amazing person I could ask for. I don't know how many times I've repeated to some of you that I needed total stranger, a new girl, to walk into my life from out of the blue. My reasoning had been that second semester senior year was about to start and I still had no romantic aspirations of any kind. I was okay with fact that I would be single until at least college, if not longer, though admittedly the idea was frustrating at times. I don't know how many times Rupam, being the amazing person he is, reassured me that something good would eventually come my way. I say now that he had no idea how lucky I might be. My dreams came walking in through Dra. Naderi's doors, and I guess I can say that things haven't been the same since. A praia, velas, cerejas, bagas, uma toalha, e você, Karoline. Tienes que enseñarme mucho - Falar, dançar e muito mais, por favor?
In other news, the semester's tough, but not so bad compared to last semester I suppose, now that I no longer have Ms Adams. I was nominated for Most Likely to Succeed, and Most Intelligent, as well as for an MLK award...Wheeler's prom will be at the Biltmore Hotel - March 26, so hopefully I'll make the afterparty when you Sprayberry kids go off to your prom. Emory accepted me over the weekend, so that's now 2 down, 8 to go. Keep wishing me luck.

Yo conoci salones cenicientos,
tuneles habitados por la luna,
hangares crueles que se despedian,

caido, abandonado y decaido,
todo erea inalienablemente ajeno,
todo era de los otros y de nadie,
hasta que tu belleza y tu pobreza
llenaron el otoño de regalos.
