I apologize. I have been tardy. Although I'm not quite sure what I've been up to specifically. I have pretended to be Charlotte Thompson for many Canadian geographers, celebrated by 22nd birthday, met the Finnish ambassador, Rendezvous'd, suffered from asthma, and continued preparations for Vancouver. In order to appease you I will post some photos.

Girls' Night Out
A bunch of us ladies went out to Elements to enjoy some martinis and some chats before heading over to The Fox and Hedgehog for some Jeff Walters B-day action. No, it was not a reprise of last year.

Higgy, Mary and Kate at Elements.

A badly lit picture of the ladies at the table.

Higgy, Mary, Kate and myself.

Me and the Darbs.

Myself, Kate, Higgy and JP at the Fox and Hedgehog.

Drew-b's Graduation AKA My Family is Crazy!

Here we are normal.

Here we are not.

And Drew-b begins wishing he had a regular family.

Drew and Darlene.

Me, Drew-b, and Mark-o.

Dans L'Ottawa Pour Convocation

Me and my Dad before the ceremony. Also, before anyone told me I wasn't supposed to put on my cowel until I officially graduated.

Here I am walking. I've got the cowel thing down now.

And now I can wear the cowel with legitimacy. When you get your doctorate you actually get to keep the whole outfit.

My mom (being silly) and I.

My dad and I. My dad is not silly.

Myself and Becky. Becky is to become a fellow graduate student. However, she is staying at Carleton and doing Canadian studies.
And then the party...

My friend Danielle and myself. She was much drunker than I.

Myself and my other small brown friend named Darran.

Kaitlin Blake was in O-town for her bro's convocation. And she came out and presented me with my fur trade boyfriend as a graduation present.

We Survived Rock the Fort Pub Crawl
Also known as The Night That We Drank Until We Couldn't Feel Feelings. I remember none of these pictures. But I do remember drinking a lot of tequila with Kate Todd, being so drunk playing pool that I could not hit the cueball with the cue, and ending the evening yakking outside the Decker. I have not drank seriously since.

Apparently Amanda Stevenson was there.

For how loaded I was, this a good picture of Mikey B and myself.

Higgy and I. Both LOADED!!!

Andrew and Higgy.

A badly lit picture of the group.

I had a camp party in this space. However, I didn't not take any photos. Matt Roy started a dance party, I was disappointed.

The Tri-Birthday Celebration

Kate came to Rissy's with what appeared to be juice boxes. They were actually wine boxes. We discussed their practically in the Fort office.

The tri-birthday girls regalling us all with some qual Kenny Rogers. "You gotta know when to hold 'em."

JP and Mary on the way to the Players. Both had too much Sambuca for life.

Higgy and Rissy with their birthday balloons from Sue Pearson. They had a balloon fight and Higgy wanted to know if she could get rid of Claudio (her balloon). To which I said, "Don't be a balloon loser" and Rissy piped in, "Yah, don't be a ba-loser!"

Inside the Players. It was dank. We decided to go onto the patio where we wouldn't bother the other patrons.

Mary crushed Higgy. (She later tackled her to the ground and rode her like a pony!)

And then Mary decided she wanted a picture of Jon.

Kate, Erika and Amanda Bates.

A blurry photo of Liz, Dave, Rissy and Amanda.

Drew, Vince, Mikey B, James and Amanda Bates.

Drunkity Drunk Drunk.

Drew and Vince "doing something funny". This is all they had.

Myself and Higgy. I merely wanted a photo. This is what occurred when I asked her to "pose".

Rissy, Higgy and I went and did a shot of tequila. In our absense Drew stepped on Claudio who Higgy had grown to love. She was mourning his loss and carried his remains with her all evening.

JP, Mary and Chris who randomly started smoking cigars.

Higgy and I. Yes, she had the lime for a length of time.

Mikey B and I making our apoth faces (we were scheduled in the apoth together the next day). Larissa, in typical Matt Roy fashion, lurked in the back of the photo.

When we were ready to head to the A-club, we prepared with some pre-dancing stretches.

At the A-club. They moved the bar downstairs just for us. Probably because we made up 90% of their patrons that evening. Mikey B, Higgy (with the fire extinguisher cover), Me and Rissy.

'Tis the end. That took me a LONG time. I need to not sit here anymore.
