”Hrm,” Harry cleared his throat. “Thank you all for coming.”
Several pairs of wide eyes turned to look curiously at him. They were so many of them. He felt nervous, biting his lip.
“I… I have… something to tell you…” Damn why was this so hard? “This is very personal, and I want you to hear me out,” he continued, more sure of himself.
“It’s so… it’s so… thatimgay.”
“Who?”
“I am,” Harry smiled. “I am gay!”
Someone screeched, two others fluttered themselves, but no one left the room.
“Who?” said the grey thorn owl again.
“Me, Harry Potter!” Harry laughed, feeling good. He had come out to the aviary!
A small barn owl gave him a reassuring bite on his robes.
“Thank you,” he petted the owl.
Encouraged by the birds approvement, he decided to find more animals to tell. He would work his way up the food chain. Maybe he even would find the courage to tell Dobby today. With a spring in his step he left the room.
“Well,” said Draco Malfoy pressed under Severus Snape’s naked and sweaty body behind the owlfeeders. “That was interesting…”
“Dare you!” smirked Snape.
Draco laughed and met his lovers lips.
