The Irresistible Revolution by Shane Claiborne.
It's basically this guy who lives in Kensington (the really bad part of Philly) and devotes all of his time to the homeless.
Except for when he's writing books or speaking somewhere ^_^
My mom called it the life-ruining book, because you seriously start looking at things in a whole new way and want to just abandon everything you know.
I highly recommend it.
I have had the honor of meeting the author twice, and he is so incredibly sweet ♥
SO ANYWAY.
I made a deal with myself.
I've been craving white hot chocolate really badly, but the closest places that have it are all about half an hour away.
So I decided that if I caved in and went to get it, I would finish the fanfics I've been writing. Tonight.
Heh. Well, I now have white hot chocolate in my hand (the biggest cup I could get, with a mint flavor shot - yum!), and an abyss of creativity to fall into.
I guess we'll see how this turns out?
