The Want of the Wild
I am sitting here reading a book that I need to do chapter summaries for Ornithology as well as watching Survivorman. Watching this show just reminds me how much I want to get into doing outdoor activities like hunting, fishing, camping, and hiking once I am done school and actually will have extra money to do this kind of thing. Not having money nor any family members that are really into outdoor activities kind of sucks because I have been wanting to do this kind of thing for a while but never had the resources. I have met people here at school who grew up with these things and I do envy them a bit but I patiently wait when I can start doing these things on my own. I may start asking for these things as gifts so I can start collecting equipment and such to be prepared because I may start doing this kind of thing come Graduate School depending on where I am dumped.
Other news is that I had to buy a wireless keyboard and mouse set because my lovely kitty decided to chew my cords and make my keyboard stop working so I bought a wireless to solve that problem. It started a fight with the fiance that probably went farther than it should of because she took the side of the cat saying I need to pay her more attention and that is why she chews things. One thing lead to another and I was on the couch last night watching Serenity and we haven't said a word to each other...We'll see what happens when she is done work...
