Holiday plans
I think I'm staying here for the holiday. I talked with my parents about it and although Mom really wants me to come back home I think they understand that I need a little space, especially after being back there so recently. Finals won't be a problem since I'm pretty much in an independent study because of my artwork but I know the professors will be checking up on what I've done - it will be interesting to see what they say about the stylistic changes from month to month. I can't help but have my moods reflected in my art.

Tachibana-san - Happy Holidays! I haven't seen you much but I hope you enjoy your gift. It's definitely from when I was in a much more upbeat mood but if you don't like it you can come to my studio and select something you like better. (Saeki has given him a watercolour of a sunset that's in vibrant reds and oranges).
