[Aya can be found in the hangar, going from mech to mech, scribbling things down.]

Hrm....drill bits? They have penetrating power and are easy enough to control...but maybe some speaker pods to attack with some kareoke? It works for Basara-kun...I wonder how hard it would be to put a DRAGOON system on Raubie...

[She sighs.]

Maybe I should have asked ( Read more... )

You're planning to do something with the DRAGOON system?

Not with the system itself, but I wanted to install some kind of high-powered remote weapons system on the Wildraubiter.

Well, between the data we have on the Strike Freedom's DRAGOONs and the Chaos's gunbarrels I figure we could hammer something out.

Though since the Raubtier can transform I think you might need to go with quantity over quality.

Actually, it might be good to go for quality here. Consider that Aya is a psychodriver and the fact that a few well placed attacks can mean a lot more than a haphazard spread. From my understanding, with the T-Link system she should be able to directly control them allowing her to use them more strategically. Last, consider that less extra weaponry will interfere with the transforming protocols less.

I wouldn't rely on speaker pods. They're great for inspiring cultural revolutions in militaristic alien regimes, but most of our enemies are humans.

Yeah, I guess you're right. We can't all be rock stars who fight with the power of song, I suppose...

I, for one, can't carry a tune in a bucket.

I'll bet your speaker pods WOULD be good against human opponents then, you'd drive them away wirh lousy singing.

Ryu, you're just who I need!

I want to put some kind of remote weapon on the Wildraubiter...you know, something bigger and more effective than the T-Link Rippers on there right now.

You're more into this kind of thing than me, so what would you think suits me?

Ah-ha! I like this question. I'm glad you asked Aya.

Remote weapon better than the rippers you say? And on the Raub.

Well it is a small and fast unit, so I'm thinking of a weapon that's missile like. Something that can shoot and hit at the same time. How's that?

Damn my new icons not matching up to my old ones soylent_genki July 20 2010, 21:01:08 UTC
Um...a-attacking with karaoke, Aya? I'm not sure that's how it works...

Cute, though. naturally_green July 21 2010, 03:34:58 UTC
The power of music's not something I can just write off, though...during that last battle with Basara, I swear, I could feel the rhythm...and my T-Link levels show it.

soylent_genki July 21 2010, 12:15:31 UTC
Well...isn't Basara...

Um, I guess it couldn't hurt?

Really, though, a good beat helps so much. I loaded a playlist of songs into the Raubiter's cockpit to play, and I'm gonna see if that helps any. You could try it too, I guess...

Does RyuOh have a radio in it, though?
