I am SO ready for the weekend.

Exams are over, papers are finished, and the semester was officially done as of Tuesday (yay!) My internship was over as of two weeks ago (:( I'm gonna miss those little guys). So, after spending a couple days this week trying to get the house back to clean/ semi-organized, I substituted again today.

Somehow, I ended up subbing as an art teacher for kindergarten and first grade classes. Oy vey.
- There was a minor outcry that So-and-so had said the "p word" (Poo, in case anyone was wondering. And no, that wasn't the first thing I guessed).
- I got called an old lady by a kindergartner. That was a first. I was sort of pleased, actually, given that it's usually asked if I'm over from the high school, or something.
- After finishing their drawings of caterpillars, the kindergarten class entertained themselves by turning scraps of paper into counterfeit. When asked, "Mrs. Smith, do you have money?" I replied, "No. I'm a teacher." I got a classroom full of blank stares and one sweet boy handed me a counterfeit 5 $ bill. (Aw)
- In the first grade class, after making Mother's day cards, I asked those who had finished to draw a picture of what they would buy if they had $100 (guess I had money on the brain after that kindergarten class, although it just seemed like a good question to ask a first grader at the time). They drew pictures of a car, an elephant, and a house.

Yep. I'm glad it's the weekend. :)
