Last full week of classes

Today... is not my day.
This morning, in a formal presentation, I very confidently informed the class that Charles I was executed on January 29, 1929, during the English Civil War. Only about 280 years off.
Then, just before I turned in my analytical paper for Theories of Personality, definitely realized that I had written Karen Horney's name as either Horny or Horn-eye throughout the paper.
Then I tripped on the steps by the psychology building trying to wave at a friend who didn't actually see me after all.
Just now, sitting in front of my computer with an insane to-do list, and all I really want to do is crawl back in bed and start the day over.

Yesterday, however... was my day.
Because I interviewed for two jobs (one in the Writing Center for next school year, and one in the Beard Center of Aging for the summer). The summer one hired me on the spot! I was dancing. So I now have the summer campus job I was most hoping to get, 20 hours/ week, and even related somewhat to my major!
And also I got to talk to Andy twice, on the phone. Kind of strange to look at the clock, and then think that it's actually three hours earlier to him.

And now: to finish this evil paper, which Dr. Screech Powers assigned at the beginning of the last full week of classes. That was not cool of him.
Naturally logging off.
