My son has a spot of ringworm on the inside of his thigh.  We are treating it, but I've been told to make sure his pants get washed in hot water/dried on high heat.  He only wears jeans and fleece pj pants, so this shouldn't be a problem to wash this way.  My question is, will adding vinegar to the wash help to disinfect his clothing?  If so, will the normal amount I add to the rinse water be enough (1/4 cup), and/or should I add it to the wash cycle (and in what amount) or both?  His sheets, towels and undies will be getting the same treatment.  We use Charlie's Soap, fwiw.
