Buckwheat/herb filled bedding + cats?
I am planning on re investing in buckwheat pillows soon. I have loved them in the past, and have just drug my feet about replacing them as friends adopt them(long story) I am also very interested in buckwheat and aroma therapeutic herbal blankets, body pillows, futons and mattress topper options. Ideally I would love a buckwheat and herb filled futon and pillow set, but I digress- am rambling now :)
My issue is this- I have 4 cats- and I know you need to spot clean the pillows.
Question: Would there be any way to salvage a full size piece of buckwheat/herb filled bedding(blanket, topper, futon etc,or pillow) should the cats vomit(or worse) on it? I really do not like the idea of paying literally hundreds of dollars for something that can not survive an accident or 2. (I am allergic to cats(have meds when needed for them but) and have a strong sense of smell so needs to be able to have full smells removed.
