I know there are a few entries about this subject in the memories but I just found something new and exciting which I think is deserving of a new post.
I found a natural, vegan, kosher, plant-based, condom-safe lubricant!!! It is called
hathor aphrodisia. It even has a cool name and beautiful packaging.
I ended up purchasing the
lubricant pure, but they also have
lubricant lickeurs in three different flavors: hazelnut caramel, coconut orange, and chocolate strawberry.
The lubricant pure ingredients are: De-ionized Water, Vegetable
Propylene Glycol (Kosher),
Acacia Gum,
Jujube Zizyphus,
Siberian Ginseng,
Horny Goat Weed and
Ascorbic Acid.
(I know there is some controversy about the health effects and safety of propylene glycol. I honestly don't know enough about chemistry/haven't read enough about it to form a solid opinion on the matter).
The lubricant lickeurs have all the same ingredients in addition to Stevia and "Organic Flavorings." I am wondering if there is something animal-based in the "Organic Flavorings" because the lubricant lickeurs are not specifically listed as vegan while the lubricant pure is. I dunno.
As a person with chemical sensitivities, I have to be careful about what I put on my body. And I'm especially wary about what goes in my vagina. If I didn't need to use condoms, lubricant would not be an issue for me, which is why I am so excited about this particular natural and condom-safe brand. In the past I've tried other natural brands such as Probe and still had issues with them. I haven't actually tried this out yet (I ordered it lyesterday and it just came in the mail today) so I can't give a complete review but it looks promising.
Unfortunately, this lube is rather expensive.
Good Vibrations sells 4 oz. for $18. I signed up for their email list which got me $5 off my order and I also used a
15% off coupon code from another site. But with shipping and handling it still came out to $17.23.
Good Vibrations has a wide variety of lubes, many of which are natural, plant-based etc. (They have a little green leaf-like icon next to products they consider to be eco-friendly/sustainable/ethical etc.) They basically have three different types (water based with glycerin, water based without glycerin, and silicone based). And they have a page that has information on the pros and cons of each which can help you determine
which lubricant is best for you.

Jujube (Ziziphus zizyphus)
