Pink eye in an 11 month old...

So my wonderful nephew has pink eye. He is 11 months old. I don't have him all the time but he's here pretty frequently for a variety of family-drama reasons. I had pink eye in June so I basically know what to do. Eye drops have been scripted from the doctor, I plan on washing his bedding after he uses it (if he EVER GOES DOWN FOR HIS NAP, but I digress...), and frequent hand washing for myself as well as keeping away from my own eyes. However, with me I would listen when you said "don't touch your eyes" but that's hard to do with an 11 month old so...any ideas? I clean my house with 1 part white vinegar 1 part water and have Dr. Bronner's soap. I'm going to wash his hands frequently with the Dr. Bronners but I don't know if that or the white vinegar is good at keeping the contagiousness down. Any ideas?

Thank you everyone!
