Itchiness with crystal deodorant

I searched for this on the memories and I didn't find anything, so here it goes:

I bought my first crystal deodorant about 2 or 3 weeks ago and it works great, I never smell.
But there's a problem: my skin is very sensitive and I'm allergic to many deodorant brands...and I guess crystal deodorant is too aggressive for my skin. My underarms are itchty, burning and with red bumps.
Probably shaving doesn't help, but I didn't use to have this problem when I used a regular deodorant for sensitive skin.
I'd really like to keep using the crystal deodorant though.

Any tips? Did the same happened to anyone here?
