speaking of 2 strand twists...
i suck at doing 2 strand twists! they always look terrible!
i think i'm pretty good with doing hair...i can cornrow & flat-twist, & rock bantu knots. i can work wonders with bobby pins. when i wear my hair straight i flat iron it myself & it looks professionally done. i trim & even chop my hair myself. when i wore perms, i permed my own hair. colored my own hair.
but 2 strand twists elude me. i try different sizes. they either look like straw, or they don't stay together. i try starting off with braiding & ending with braiding...it all looks terrible. my twist-outs look really cute--which is the only reason i continue to 2 strand twist my hair--but does anyone have any insight?
i've watched videos to no avail.
i consider paying professional stylist to twist my hair, but i don't b/c i'm wondering if there are just some people who just can't rock two strand twists & look cute???
