car seat recommendations?
I'm looking for a safe carseat for my 5.5 month old (20 lbs). Something that doesn't smell too chemically or of fire retardants. Anything out there with natural fabrics? Or am I basically going to have to go mainstream on this?
I hear good things about the Graco Snugride. But my baby is on the big/chubby side - should I be getting a convertible car seat instead? I just really want him to be rear facing and safe.
I know very little about this as we don't have a car (we don't need one where we live in Sweden). But we're going back to Canada for 6 months and will sadly need one again to get around. Any help is greatly appreciated!
He will be just about a year old when we leave (so we won't need one anymore after that) so that's why I'm thinking an infant car seat rather than a convertible car seat would be better / cheaper / safer.
