Writer's Block: Most memorable concert
John Legend came to Trinidad and Tobago ealier this year (2009)
It was magical for me because it exceeded expectations which were already high, and he interacted so well with the audience while pleasing every one that it seemed as if he was, at times, singing to each individual. The location was an mini stadium, known as the Oval, and I was in the VIP section in front of the stage under a cloudless, moonlit, starry ,excellent night.
The experience was made all the more exciting since the preceeding acts, which were all local, were of the highest international quality and set the best framework for this exquisite night...........
It took weeks for me to loose the buzz....thinking about it has brought great memories afresh.....
