hey!
so im in LA right now and i love it
ive been really emotional ...as u can see in my last entry
but today i had a BLAST
i wish i lived here..tho i love austin, but im glad matthew gets to live here!
Today I flew over here with the whole family except trav (hes been here already) and we came to our hotel (Wilshire). Then we walked around and ate lunch at California Pizza Kitchen. THen my mom and I took the rental car and started on down the streets in search of Fred Segal. buutt the stooopid GPS thing took us all the way to Santa Monica and to this weird residential area and probably through Compton. haha so that was a big waste of an hour when i could be SPENDING MONEY! GAHH. So basically its shopping heaven here..theres sooo many stores i still need to go to like Marc by Marc Jacobs....*gasp* i love it. We shopped around at this huge ass Neiman Marcus and gawked at the crazy prices. of course. Then we went over to Rodeo drive and I went into a bunch of shops and found a skirt, some sandals, some bangles, and some more shoes. Thennnn we went to Anthropologie and my mom and I liked a lot of the same stuff...lets just say our massive dressing room was FILLED. We spent so much money there...oh man. So i did all my back to school shopping. i got quite a few skirts and tops there and a sweater. Then we went out to dinner at Fogga de Chao and that was AMAZING. Its this Brazilian place where they come around to ur table and offer different meats and cut it off the skewer thingy..man i ate a lot of sirloin and bacon wrapped chicken! Now matthew and maddy and i are in our hotel room..we just came from the lobby where they were filming for a movie i guess. havent seen any stars yet, but watching them film was pretty cool! This lady on rodeo drive thought my mom was GLen Close hahaha that was funny. ok well we're ordering room service and watching a movie. ill be back thursday afternoon
