Thank you, everyone, for such a wonderful Christmas. My first one that felt like a real Christmas. Though, I must say... some presents were startling. Thanks ever so, Miss Faye.
In other news, I'm glad that these curses seem to be over for the moment. The City and its deities may have a wicked sense of humour, but at least they spared us Christmas day. So, yes, an enjoyable holiday all together. However...

Please get your new pet to stop biting me. I've not done a thing to your precious Ptolemy, so I hardly think I deserve injury to my hands. Or arms. Or legs. I am NOT a scratching post or a chew toy! He even got a good grip on one of my fingers, so typing is ever so enjoyable at the moment. Really. Honestly!
It seems that the new year is fast approaching, and once again, I find myself marveling at the fact that I'll be able to see a new year. Another January and another birthday.
And once again, I find myself calling this City, and it's allowance of my further existance, both a blessing and a curse.
