so amazingly time has really flown by really quickly and now it has left me with only about a month and a half before i fly back. but you know what? i don't want to go back. i love the freedom to do what i want, the weekends where i spend alone. back in singapore, i don't get much of this alone time. i don't get much opportunity to wander around by myself like i do here every weekend, discovering new things and creating special memories for myself to keep. i want a private life like this. i want to be able to keep have some memories by myself, for myself to love. because i know deep down inside, i don't love myself enough to see the wonderful things around me. but this isn't going to last. no. in a month more, i'll be back in singapore, living the superficial, highly façaded life i have been living. ): which really bums me out. as much as i would love to say i miss everyone, and i do, don't get me wrong. but i think i would miss this solitude just as much.

anyway, 22nd august was another day spent by myself wandering around. i didn't take any public transport. i just relied on my own two feet to get me around because 1) I felt like i needed to exercise and 2) well, i figured i could see more and discover more and boy was i right about that. i walked from my place which is north point all the way to causeway bay, explored almost the whole area and discovered new joints and cool things along the way. i can tell you all the good places to go to to shop and eat. i am awesome like that.

sports ground, APPLE MALL, cool things in apple mall, hong kong central library, agnes b cafe, shop called OOPS, very cool overhead bridge, chandelier shop, my feet, ferrari showroom, a much bigger G.O.D showroom/shop, street stall curry fishball and siew mai, miniature display where i bought my dong nai cha.

during the week, i had the 3 days lingerie shoot that i have been raving about. thursday was packing day for our move to the new studio in chai wan. i'm missing the old studio already and it's vicinity. but the new studio is looking great.! friday we had the big move and in the evening we partied. oh yes we did. we trashed the old studio with beer, cake and pizza. had beer and food fights, left a stink bomb behind for the tenant, took loads of pictures.. (sadly none is with me). but i love Red Dog. they're a whole bunch of cool people.

29th August was a day spent with my mum's friend and her husband. they took me out for dim sum.. a very different kind of dim sum. no siew mai or hagau or pau. but mostly an array of fried goods. which was really delish. then they took me around to visit various beaches like shek-o and repulse bay, they took me to the floating restaurant and their very exclusive hong kong jockey club, which is really very nice. and exclusive.

the aunty diane (who is really cute and the perfect example of a tai-tai. they took me on a tour of hk beaches and etc in their bmw because she said it was too hot out to walk around. which was true. hello. 35 degrees and 36 degrees in the span of one hour) and uncle peter, repulse bay, shek-o, floating restaurant, hong kong tallest residential building: 70++ floors., hong kong jockey club with marché style cafe, indoor pool and gym.

and today, i fulfilled my french toast craving. awesome.

the picture does not really do justice to the taste.
