Sick and sad - Monday 13th August

It was supposed that we were going to wake up early and go to some park... we failed again. I got cold because the damned air conditioner althought it's always in 77 degrees. Mike turned it off yesterday but was too late, I'm feeling sick: stuffed nose, sneezing nonstop and feeling tired. I drew another Vegeta for Mike while watching TV in the bed

Thank you, I'm fine, I just had few symptoms which disappeared quickly but Michael got the cold from me and he was sick for 2 weeks lol
I'm not sure that we could live together until my daughter get older because I don't want she be away from his father but who knows... if things keep going that bad in this country maybe I'll take her with me and move to any other country doesn't matter where.

Wow, it is interesting that working active person like you are feeling disappointed about the life in the most rich country of the world. One my relatives family is in the process of immigrating to USA at the moment... I was trying to convince them to wait for some years but they are confident to try. New York has made its best to impress them completely. )
Though I can admit that life in Russia even it is stable and save doesn't give to youngsters a lot of to believe in future but as it was said - excuse me my lame English "The best place is where we are not at the moment".

Oh no no, I'm not in USA, Michael is. I live in Argentina and the fake democracy and political corruption has emptied the coffers of this country and the brain of the people. I work 9.30 hours every day for a company, plus I do web design as freelance in my free time, I'm always trying to learn and to improve my skills, and still what I earn is not enought to have my own house, nor car, nothing at all. I have no future in this place, doesn't matter how hard I work.

Or! It is hell funny that I am reading you for so long and didn't get a glimpse where you are living in - globalization to blame or my myopia(stupidity) ))) but when I saw at first time the photos of your women relatives I was absolutely convinced that you are English speaking folk - I don't know why... )) I thought that you came to USA from South America but… that you are living there for some years and have relatives already.
Strange that you are speaking - writing English so well if you are not using it in your everyday work - life... maybe you are planning to immigrate to USA? ;)
What is about the life in South America is hard... well you know better but of course I am not surprised with so many people living in poverty in South America. I'd heard that Argentina is not that poor but I don't know much about this country to say true.
I am very surprised and pleased to know that you are from South America - it is difficult to find people in LJ from other countries than USA, EU, Russia and I am twice glad to see your life.

Nope, I would like living in a country like that where if you work you can get your own things.
One of the reasons of this journal is to practise my English which I learn by myself. I took lessons for few months but it was a waste of money because my teacher was always busy sending message in whatsapp. I started to study when Michael started to talk to me on internet. I am very bad talking but they can understand me anyway. I need to try it harder to improve my English.
My country could be so powerful because we have a lot of economic resources, but the corruption ruined us, and people become more and more lazy and dumb, they don't want to study and work, they want everything easy and free.
I could not find active people from Argentina in LJ, they use mostly Facebook and Instagram.

Yes, many people are sitting in/on a Facebook but I don't like the format of this social net nit to say about Insta... These resources making me feel that all the world is very superficial and mediocre.

Because when I opened this journal it was to write about my first fly to FL and just for myself. I added contacts months later and I don't like to write some personal information. In example, you will see I don't write post about my daughters nor post photos of them, there are a lot of pervers around (I've reported a guy from here who had his photobook full of naked underage girls and even the FBI was involved in my police report). I don't write the names of my boss or coworkers, I don't use my real name for social networks nor even add my family there. I don't want people find me and mess with me or with people I love, so better not to make things easy for them.
I used to be known in the gammer world in this country, since I had the first online servers of Counter Strike and also a server of Ultima Online, and that community was full of hormonal adolescents that if I did not pay attention or if I banned them to them they would try to mess with me or threaten me so I've learned to be safe on internet.

I know there are the perverts but it is calm in Russia now - Putin is ruling! ))) - and it is save to put a personal info in Internet in Russia now - we have the social networks full of classmates with photos and info and so on though I am not interesting about spreading my personal info or speaking with Russians - just communicate with English speaking decent guys to not forget my weak English. ))
