Woo! Update. But I'm just bitching.
If you don't know, I am a cashier at Home Depot now. I requested my birthday (the 31st) off FOUR WEEKS AGO. Our rules on that are three sundays before the date.
So, I'm all happy to see the 7/31 - 8/06 schedule posted.
I'm scheduled 2pm-11pm that day.
I asked the HR, who is doing scheduling now, if I had this approved a week ago. She tells me "Oh yeaaaaaaah, we sent that in today."
BULLSHIT LIARS!!! I wanted THAT day off plus 2 normal days, leaving me with 32 hours that week. And I don't mind.
But now, since they fucked up AGAIN, I have to switch that day with someone and work their shift so I can have my god damned birthday OFF.
