Spam entry Number 2:
The other book Rebecca has loaned me is one of Terry Prachet's children's series. I didn't even know he wrote children's books until she tried to get one of her kids to read it for school. I giggled all the way through the first chapter which her daughter read outloud while I was cutting fabric. Unfortunately her daughter didn't find it nearly as funny as me, and she refused to use it for class. I suppose British humor is a little out of a 9 year old American's grasp. Actually, it's still out of Eli's grasp, I've tried reading him funny passages from the discworld novels, and he just looks at me like I'm insane. The fact that I usually can't get through reading a passage outloud without gasping for air with tears running down my face has nothing to do with it. ;-)
