I'm not on Tumblr - and I only follow DW if someone cross-posts to Lj. I've been fading in and out myself for various reasons - so I miss quite a bit.
I'm giving BB another whirl this year - Pros is here, will always be here - I find multi-fandom works for me, but it doesn't for everyone.
I don't follow Marvel myself - so I have no idea about the state of play in that fandom, but you can safely put Pros on the back burner - Star Trek has been for me for some while now - but it's still there and I can pick it up anytime that I have the energy.
And fandom isn't writing, you can be part of fandom without writing a word. So you could write Marvel and read Pros...I read Due South, NCIS and Starsky & Hutch without ever writing for them.
I have several Star Trek fic I want to finish, but I've learned not to beat myself up about the stuff I don't get to - better to concentrate on the stuff you do actually achieve - and I haven't given up on those ST fic - I fiddle with them every now and then.
In the end I always do what 'feels' right - not sure how much help any of this is - but it was nice to hear from you.
(Hope you manage to settle in soon - I know how that living out of a box goes...)
