Karneval manga review
Well, I am back from another review~! Or maybe this time, I am back just to re-update my opinion regarding Karneval! Minna-san, have you still remember my last review? If not, I will give you a chance to take a glance at my last opinion. But, since there are soooo many changes, I've strikeouted my comments that is no longer apply to this. Here we go:
Karneval manga is fallen under action, adventure, josei manga. Honestly, this manga is not possessed such an excellent art but it is considered good, typicall shounen manga. However, since it is not really that action and there are not too many fight-scene, it falls under josei, not shounen. The story line is quite confusing and a bit complicated. There are not too much hint about who is the enemy and what is the real purpose of the organization (but it may be due to my laziness read some detail in this manga. I just read the overall and some scene that is interesting). But, personally I think that this manga has potential to be developed more and become better. The real problem is because until now, I still do not know who's the enemy and the bad guy. There are too many secret that haven't been revealed yet! However, let's proceed to the summarize of this manga:
Nai is a cute-looking child. He is in mission of searching for his closest person in his life who just missing abruptly (not really clear who this guy is) named Karoku. Karoku suddently disappeared and Nai can only see "red-water" which was blood at his last moment with Karoku. Not only he found blood, he found a bracelet that supposed to be Karoku's. Nai took it and kept it. Then, in order to find Karoku, he traveled to the outside world. But, strange and dangerous things keep happening to him. He even attacked by certain human-like-monster that eat human (called post-human). Thanks to Gareki's help, Nai can survive. Accompanied by Gareki, Nai tries to find Karoku. Since the bracelet that Nai possessed is an identity of a mysterious organization called "circus", Nai dan Gareki have to find Circus. Finding Circus did not require long time. They found Circus. But, unfortunately, Circus does not know Karoku, nor they ever heard that name before. But, since there is a secret in Nai's body structure, Circus determines to help Nai find Karoku, with certain purpose that still unknown.
Without any further, let's proceed to the rating section. My rating will be 6.5 out of 10. I am enjoying this manga, but it still haven't make me addicted to it. THe complexity of the story lower my score for it. And since I skipped some chapters due to the boringness of the detail, it also lowered the score. Therefore, it only get 6.5.
Hahahaha, when I took a little peek at my post, I could not help but grinning for such a long time since I changed my opinion quite dramatically. If you are wondering why I bother to repost it, my answer will be: "Because this manga is a good one, and I am addicted to it! Really~really~ addicted to it. And since I am a person that could not let such a good manga to become a waste, I am willing to share my excitement and try to spread this around". I have to add that the complexity is still existed, but it gradually becomes more interesting. I reread it (since I have such a damn leisure time) and even hold a drama CD of it. No doubt that my interest towards it is increasing and almost driving me insane for waiting at the latest update ^o^. My current score would be 8 out of 10. You could see, that it gained such an additional score from me?? That's the charm of it~~~!
