U.G.G. - peripheral notes

May 24, 2012 19:57

The rhythmic tapping of the keyboard slowly fades in the back ground as my eyes meanders across the screen. I look but I see nothing that merits attention. I narrow in my vision with a deep sigh of breathe, hoping to awaken some sort of life in this automotive state of a daily choir. I inhale another deep breath to sooth the lung's thirst and to snap my consciousness into action. I think I'm awake to begin this process again. This process of writing seems so foreign to me. My eyes circle around the room in search of thought. There's no inspiration to be had as my eyes come full circle, yet the steady tap of the keys makes it's music.

The sun lights up the room with a gold hue at this time of night. It's near sunset and yet it seems as if the sun just rose to fill this room with some delight. The ambiance breaks the mundane vibe of a muse-less journal post. I think, I'm slowly recalling what brings me back to you.
