What is it about this LJ that i can't update it like normal people?
Well, it's a couple days before the end of the month and i'm gonna squeeze an entry in so that i don't go a whole month w/o saying something. Especially since this month is my favorite month. Friday is my birthday and i'm excited about it. Especially after Petal's sweet sixteen. EVERYONE was riding her, so now it's my turn for everything to be about ME, dammit! Idk what that is, maybe a sibling rivalry thing, but i'm gonna squeeze every bit of it that i can, especially from Petal and the parents. Being 19 was fun, it had its high points (rebeating...5 times!) and its low points (leaving Drexel, and other things...). And so my life as a teenager comes to a close. Next stop, adulthood! Hooray Responsibility!
Now that i'm home for good, i'll be going to Brooklyn College to work on getting a degree in some particular field of study. Right now, it's lookin like that field is gonna be Computer & Informational Science. It's prolly temporary, but it prolly isn't. Who knows? Another thing about goin to Brooklyn College is that i pretty much lost all of my credits from Drexel. So my status might be downgraded to freshman. YES! So while everyone else goes off and graduates, i'll still be halfway thru. I just hope you guys will remember to come to my graduation, two years after yours....*cries*. *wipes tears* *mans up* Moving on now.
I'll also find a lil part time job while i go to school. So i can have a lil cash money in my pocket for saving/spending purposes. Petal told me that i should get a job and move out of the house. I thought it was a stupid idea at first, but then i realized that next year i'll be 21 and still living in my parents' house, with 2 more years to go to finish my BACHELOR'S degree. Kinda weird, but it's what i have to do. I'm eventually gonna move out of the house, but idk if getting an apt within the next couple years is wise. I mean, i'll have to pay rent, buy food, and work alot to maintain those things. Maybe it's best if i just stay where I am until I graduate and have a steady full-time job. Besides, Petal just wants a place to go to when she can't stand mom & dad anymore. She's in her teenage rebellion phase.
So i've decided on a PSP for my birthday. I'm a lil disappointed w/the selection of games for it, but upcoming titles look promisisng. But it seem that i'll only own two games, WipEout Pure, and Madden NFL 2006. The rest i'll just rent thru Gamefly.com. Great service, now i can play whatever game i want. I recommend it. Anyway, i'm getting a PSP (maybe tomorrow), a Donovan McNabb black home jersey, and possibly if we have some money left, 24 Season 3. I'm getting tired now, so i'm gonna go. Make sure to wish me and John a happy birthday.
P.S.- John is going skydiving for his birthday. SKYDIVING. I have trouble on Nitro at Six Flags, if i skydive i'll crap my pants the second I jump out. Anyway, i'm out. Lata
