wow, i haven't written in here in DAYS...
i can't believe Livejournal is still around... brings back so many memories, i love reading old posts...

Isis is 3 years old now. she just wrote "Mama" for the first time the other day, LOVED THAT :) she's starting to read small words, she loves to do art, draw, paint, make collages, stickers, anything... she has imaginary friends that have the strangest names (recently: Hulu and Mana, although it was Deedee and Dada for the longest time...) I love listening to her reason. she is kind of a nervous kid, bites her nails and all. However, she is a great friend, very compassionate and caring. lately, she's been on a "when i grew up, i'm gonna be..." (that's how she says it too) this week it was: a garbageMAN (can't convince her to say garbage woman, or firewoman or anything woman for that matter, she also says she wants to be a Papa when she grows up) and a butterfly.

My son, Elijah just turned 1 this past weekend. he is an awesome soul. very emotional, very persistent and stubborn (Taurus) He loves his play vaccum and broom. he loves to play in the backyard with the sand table and the slide. he loves loves loves to eat (he's been eating big kid food, meaning what we eat cut-up small since he was like 8 months old)  i would say brocolli and raisins and blueberries are his favorite, although he really does eat anything. he won't let me spoon-feed him anymore, he wants to eat all by himself. he's been walking for a month now and is very agile physically.

i'm almost done with school :) i will finish by the end of 2009 hopefully. it's been quite an adventure working full-time and having 2 kids, a husband (a third kid really...) and a house. i've loved meeting like-minded people though, and i've loved meeting different people too. anyplace where people gather with a common goal is a blessed opportunity for discussions and ideas. it's nice to get out of the house too and school has been an outlet for me at times.

i finally opened a family daycare and am able to stay home with my children. i love to be able to create bonds with my daycare children, which is something i felt i wasn't able to do as much at the preschool i was working for. it will be fun watching all these babies grow.

married life has been VERY interesting. i give everyone who is married for more than 10 years MAD PROPS!!! i love that marriage is such practice, gotta be ZEN when you're all up in each other's face all the time.

well that's all for now folks.

blessings
