sometimes i love school
I just recieved the follwing email from my film teacher: so basically
Hi all of you,
Here are the review topics for the Final on Wednesday. Try to make the
time to prepare and think about answers to these. I'll put them on the
website too. Since you've all been tremendously active in generating such
constructive class discussions, and so have seemed to enjoy learning from
each other, I'm happy to let you take the Final Exam as a group
collaborative exercise this coming Wednesday, similar to the last time.
This way we can maxzimize the learning, by sorting through any points that
are unclear, and we can also enjoy ourselves a little. I have a very short
interview with Marcel Ophuls and Costa-Gavras on tape about their ways of
making films about politics, or political films that we can watch as a way
to draw the exam discussion into a conclusion!
I'll have your other written work to return to you, with an estimated, or
projected final grade for you on Wednesday, i.e., taking into account the
work turned in to date.

so basically, she rocks. and we have a group final. sweeet. I spent 2 hours in the study lounge today, and it's only 1:15. I'm going to pack a little, run, swim, and then go back. then most likely venture out tonight.
