Now that she's back from that soul vacation...

Where to begin?

Two weeks ago, I got cast in a major motion picture. "The Ultimate Gift" Starring James Garner. Last Monday I went to Charlotte Airport for the shoot. I met James Garner and Brian Dennehy. The casting agency wants me to come back next Monday to be a patient in the hospital. No guarantee I will be on camera, but it has been a phenomenal experience. The studio gave all of the extras tickets to the "Rent" screening in Charlotte last night. But I couldn't go because I had work.

I auditioned for Shepard's "The Late Henry Moss" at Carolina Actor's Studio Theatre. I did not get the part, but that turned out to be a blessing in disguise. The director, Michael Simmons, read my resume and asked me to assistant direct. He said at "CAST" that is more along the lines of an apprenticeship, and that he has the rights for "Real Women Have Curves". He said as soon as I get up to CAST speed, he'll let me loose with it. He is a brilliant man. The cast is marvelous. We have been breaking down the script, piece by piece, entirely. Exploring the psychological and metaphysical sides of acting. His credo is "Art is a lie that tells the truth." I am learning so very much.

"Othello" goes up next week. I'll post character headshots at some point.

I have been working monologues for my NCSA and AADA auditions.

I now work at Cold Stone Creamery. I love the work and love the people I work with.

I will act in "The Vagina Monologues". It is being performed on V-Day. I am greatly looking forward to it.

I plan on auditioning for "The Taming Of The Shrew" in January.
