yesterday i had the best run ive ever had on my bike trail in my back yard. it was great. i didnt even stop where i normally stop around three times because the turns are so sharp and the slopes are so steep. im wearing the trail out nicely and i took my first spill on it today. i was taking a turn to sharp and too slow and the bike was sideways on a slope so one foot could reach the ground and the other couldnt and the bike had to tilt to the side where my foot couldnt reach the ground. so i had to bail and i ended up rolling about 15 feet down the hill. the bike just caught a tree and stayed right where i had bailed. but no amazing battle scars or anything.
now i can ride up the hill to the trail too. i swear its at least a 45 degree slope. awesome.
i learned the majority of "stairway to heaven" (zapahlen) but i still need to get the solo down. that shouldnt be too hard though. im going to learn "oh praise Him" )david crowder( but i can't find tabs that look right. itll take about five minutes to learn anyway.
now for the prs. my aunt is insanely sick. shes been in bed for the longest time and im not sure if its lethal or not but its too close for comfort. plus they have an autistic son so my uncle's had to stay off of work to take care of him. so keep them in your prayers as you go on this week.
also keep my dad in your prayers. were still not 100percent sure about his job. he has to be notified for ground school before he can actually start flying. then it will be another year before he makes captain. if he gets this job then he will be able to move back down with us but if not he might just have to give up on flying and the last 5 years of schooling will have been wasted.
seek it, live it, share it.
