***NOTE: Ok this was an entry that I wrote a while ago, but I haven't ever had the time to put it on here. So this is from a couple of weekends ago.***
Ah, the end of yet another week of my wonderful summer vacation. It’s been really nice so far. The whole getting to sleep-in, seeing Cullen a whole lot more, and spending time with my family and Phil has been fabulous.
I haven’t had the time to update last weekend on here yet. So, I am going to go back a week and then back to this one. If that makes any sense…
So, last weekend I wanted to go and see The Break-up. I absolutely LOVE Vince Vaughn and I couldn’t wait to see him in it! Jennifer Aniston was pretty good in it too. I thought that she was pretty funny in a lot of the scenes. I liked how she kept up with his comedy too. She was throwing the one-liners back just as fast as he was spitting them out. I really liked the movie as a whole too. Normally I wouldn’t have chosen to see a movie with just her in it, but of course I had to go and see Vince. As always he was hilarious and made me crack up many, many times. I also liked that it was funny but at the same time it had sad parts. It was definitely a movie that should be applauded for actually being true to a relationship. They fought over things that couples really fight about. So in that aspect, I thought it was awesome. Overall, I thought it was really cute and I would go and see it again.
Raquel and I went out to eat at Eastern before the movie. Our waiter was really funny. Mainly because at times you can’t really understand exactly what they are saying, but then they are so cute and nice. I actually forgot my cell phone on the table at the restaurant, and he literally ran out into the parking lot to give it back to me. He was so great.
Then when we got to the movies it was horribly packed. I really didn’t want to stand out in that line in the heat. Luckily, when I went inside I saw my good friend that works there. I waved my 20 bucks at her and mouthed, “Can you get me tickets?” She came out with two tickets for both of us and just said, “Enjoy the movie!” So of course this made Raquel ridiculously happy. So much so that she ran to the theatre thinking that they would eventually chase her down and make her pay for the ticket. It was hilarious. I think that it made the movie that much better just knowing that it was a free movie. It was fabulous!
So that was my weekend. Then I went to work, made money, and laughed at the girl that finally got told something by the boss lady. Mwhahaha..
Last night Cullen and I went to Texas Roadhouse. It was fabulous. I had been craving their bread for months. So we finally went, and had a really good time. We saw his friend there who had just become the manager. Then on our way out we ran into Monique who now waits tables. It was really nice running into people I hadn’t seen in a while.
After we ate, Cullen decided that he wanted to go and see his grandparents. So we went over there and talked for about an hour and a half or so. Afterwards we came back and watched Meet the Fockers. I love that movie. It makes me crack up every time. Not as much as The Wedding Crashers of course, but a lot.
Well, I am off to go and get ready for work. I still need to go to Planet Beach and see about setting up a tanning account. I keep saying that I am going to go, yet I never wind up actually going.
Since I have to work Friday and Saturday night (which is good at time = good tips and extra $$), I want to go and see Cars on Sunday. Cullen didn’t want to go, basically because it is an animated movie. However, I could care less. I think that it’s going to be absolutely hilarious and adorable. So yeah, I am going to drag Raquel, and maybe Cullen will come along. I’m sure if he has nothing better to do, like play poker with his buddies, or something. We’ll see.
